Day92: Steel-Cut Oats

Enjoyed a bowl of steel-cut oatmeal with cranberries this morning.  wow – that is a stick-to-your-ribs kind of breakfast. I was not hungry at all until about 1pm.  Interesting how different meals have such a different impact on your satisfaction and hunger later. 

The day before, I’d had a bagel with cream cheese — very tasty, but no protein and little fiber.  Didn’t stay with me.

No “rocket surgery” I know — but it’s helpful to remind myself of these truism.
